(“Robert Frost”). 91pp. 8vo. N.p., N.d. Henry Holt and Company, 1942. First edition of A Witness Tree: New Poems signed on the half title page. Poems included in the volume are “Carpe Diem,” “The Subverted Flower” and “The Gift Outright.” Among the many honors Frost received for his poetry are four Pulitzer Prizes, including one in 1943 for A Witness Tree, the Mark Twain Medal and a gold medal from the National Institute of Arts and Letters. In a very fine dust jacket with just the slightest wear. In very fine condition and uncommon as such.
